Her characters dance across Museo del Prado's ceramics and stationery, populate Swiss Credit Cards and sleep on the walls of a Copenhagen hotel (where she replaced the bed with a tent).
She has illustrated books she has written (Her Idea, The Best Book in the World) and ones she hasn't (Jane Yolen’s A Bear Sat on my Porch Today, Lemony Snicket’s Swarm of Bees). One she both wrote and illustrated, The New Rooster, won a New York Times/New York Public Library 2022 Best Illustrated Children’s Book.
She has made board book series (Touchwords, Motor Mix) and a set of pocket sized books for preschoolers (Hippo Park Pals). Herbert on the Slide was named a 2023 Charlotte Zolotow Highly Commended Book.
Her latest picture book 'You Rule!' is about measuring immeasurable things in life like bravery, kindness and love.
