Sno is part of the seasonal candle collection from Skandinavisk. They’ve introduced a bigger glass, a new design, FSC-certified beech lid, hard box gift packaging, and poured them in Sweden. All of which add to the more familiar Swedish rapeseed wax blend, returning fragrance favourite, and FSC-certified packaging standard that reflect their journey to leave a lighter footprint. A true Skandinavisk gifting experience.
SNO is Swedish for ‘snow’. Nature’s treasured light through the deep Scandinavian winter, a shining frosted blanket against the dominating darkness.
Scent notes: Frozen forests and frosted berries, the sharp, fresh breath of subzero skies.
Materials: Partially-recycled and dishwasher-proof glass produced in the EU with metals-free water dyes. FSC-certified beech lid from managed European forests. FSC-certified packaging card from managed Swedish forests with natural colour dyes.

Skandinavisk was started by a curious English chap, Shaun, who fell in love with a blonde Scandinavian gardener and never left. He was joined by a second English emigrant, Gerry, who shared his love for Scandinavia and a Danish designer, Line, who captured their combined experiences and translated it all into our distinctive design DNA.
Founded in 2012, their home and body fragrance collections are inspired by over 20 years of travels across the Nordic region. They create subtle, refined scents based on aspects of Scandinavia they consider to be precious to the inhabitants and exotic to the outside world, and they blend them with colour, symbols and a single local word rich with meaning to create unique impressions of Scandinavia.
They have always been inspired by the Scandinavian design tradition – of function over form, of minimal aesthetics and understatement, and of responsible sourcing and production practices. You can see this reflected in their choice of elements and materials, in their simple, clean lines, and their origin and footprint.
Shaun and Gerry believe the absolute essence of Scandinavian lifestyle is in the colour, scent, light and warmth of a flickering candle flame and a glow that not only burrows deep through the wax, but one which nourishes the soul too. After all, Scandinavians use more candles than any other nation in the world. They use them morning, noon and night. 12 months a year. Because they know that a candle makes any moment softer, more informal, more cosy.
