From the historical city of the Taj Mahal, the white or black marble show different structures, as it is a natural stone.
A simple yet expressive shape for a book end. A contrast between weight and weightlessness, solidity and detailing, and yet general line close the classical typology of book ends.
The two curves create curved planes and a subtle play of lights, and help define the dual movement in this sculptural shape.
The Emoji book ends have two different personalities, since they can be placed with their longer side up to support larger books, or resting on their longer sides if the books happen to be small.
