Antoinette Ferwerda (artist)
Antoinette is a Melbourne artist who loves colour and pattern. Antoinette draws inspiration from the natural world to create artworks in acrylic paint, ink, and collage - plus she has a penchant for painting palm tree pods and cast deer alters. She started designing towels in 2012 to add to her artistic portfolio.
Her art studio wall mural captures her talent for creativity, both graphic design and fine art. Antoinette’s first solo art exhibition opened at Ministry of Art gallery in St Kilda in November 2014, the same month she was selected to be a feature artist for Camberwell Girls Grammar Art show (CamArt). She is represented by Greenhouse Interiors and her artworks are stocked by boutique retailers around Australia. She also works directly with art collectors to create private commissions for private residences and corporate spaces.
Each Ninnho towel has been designed with the same exquisite attention to detail as Antoinette’s artworks. They are produced in a limited edition range, each with a unique design story…..a true piece of art.
